The MLT-D103 cartridges are used in numerous Samsung printers and MFPs, including but not limited to the ML-2950, ML-2951, ML-2955, SCX-4728 MFP and SCX-4729 MFP. All of these models were introduced in August and September 2011, have an OEM-rated print speed of 29 pages per minute (ppm) for letter-size prints and 28 ppm for A4. All have duty cycles of 12,000 pages per month.
Printers using the MLT-D103 cartridges will not print properly without a new chip on remanufactured toner cartridges. Cartridges are very similar to those used in the Dell® B1260 printers, and are region-specific, making it necessary to match the proper chip to the right cartridge SKU for use in different geographic markets.
