The ML-D4550 cartridges are used in Samsung ML-4050 and 4551 printers, introduced from June 2006 to March 2007. Both have OEM-rated print speeds of up to 45 pages per minute (ppm), and have duty cycles of 200,000 pages per month.
Printers utilizing the ML-D4550 cartridges will not print properly without a new chip on remanufactured toner cartridges. These cartridges are yield and region-specific, making it necessary to match the proper chip to the right cartridge SKU.
