In March 2012, Kyocera introduced the monochrome Ecosys FS-1320 printer, followed by the FS-1370 printer in June 2010. Both printers were OEM-rated at the same speed of up to 37 letter-size pages per minute (ppm) and monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages per month. The most notable differences were with the processor, memory, connectivity and network support.
Both printers ship with 2,300 page yield starter toner cartridges. Replacement cartridges are available in a 7,200 page yield version only. Cartridge SKUs vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold, and all cartridges require a chip for the printer to function correctly.
