The Okidata B412 family of monochrome laser printer is designed for desktops and small workgroups. The B412 has an OEM-rated print speed of 35 pages per minute (ppm) and a duty cycle rating of 60,000 pages per month. The multifunction version, the MB472 MFP, has the same print specifications with added copy, scan and fax functions as standard.
Included in this family are the B432 and ES4132 printers along with the MB492 MFP (copy/scan/fax) version. Their print speeds are OEM-rated at 42 ppm (40 ppm for the A4 ES4132) and all three models have duty cycle ratings of 80,000 pages per month.
Also included are the B512 and MB562 MFP (copy/scan/fax) with OEM-rated print speeds of 47 pages per minute (ppm) and duty cycle ratings of 100,000 pages per month.
The supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and separate drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges are available in 3,000 page standard yield, 7,000 page high yield and 12,000 page extra-high yield versions. The drum unit’s average yield is 30,000 pages. All models except the ES4132 ship with 2,000 page starter cartridges; the ES4132 ships with enough toner for 10,500 pages. All cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
