In March 2009, Kyocera introduced the FS-4200 monochrome laser printer. Print speed was OEM-rated at 52 pages per minute (ppm), and a duty cycle of 250,000 pages per month was listed.
The supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and separate drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges are available in page yields of 15,500 pages, 21,000 pages and 25,000 pages, depending upon the region where purchased. All toner cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
