The HP CP1025 color printer was introduced in November 2010. An MFP version, the 100 M175 was introduced in July 2011, with print, copy and scan functionality. In February 2012 the TopShot M275 was released as is the first web-connected color laser MFP with the ability to scan objects in 3-D. All were OEM rated at print speeds of 4 pages per minute (ppm) for color and 17 ppm for black and white.

The three models utilize type 126A toner cartridges and drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges are sold in 1,000 page yield (color) and 1,200 page yield (black). A single drum unit is sold separately. Each toner cartridge requires a chip for correct printer operation. Printers ship with a full capacity drum unit and four 500 page yield introductory cartridges that are physically the same as the replacement cartridges. These introductory cartridges can be remanufactured as full yield replacements when the correct toner load and chip are used.
