HP Types 60 (standard yield) and 60XL (high yield) ink jet cartridges are used in several Deskjet®, ENVY® and Photosmart® printers. Both standard and high yield cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
Note:Printers using cartridge types 60 and 60XL may also use other types of ink jet cartridges (i.e., HP 121, HP 300, HP 818).
