In Mid 2019, HP introduced the Color Laser 150 printer, Color Laser MFP 178nw and MFP 179fnw multifunction printer (MFP) all have OEM-rated print speeds of 18 pages per minute in black and 4 pages per minute in color, and duty cycles of 20,000 pages per month.  Users can print from a PC or laptop, or from a mobile device.  The printer features the ability to connect a smartphone or tablet directly to the device (no network access required), support for printing on labels, and an output capacity of 50 sheets. Another advantage is self-healing Wi-Fi that keeps users connected.

The supplies set is made up of four toner cartridges, with replacement color cartridges offered in 1,000 page Black & 700 page Cyan/Magenta/Yellow yield.  Each color comes with its own drum unit which is 16,000page yield.  All toner cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
