In June 2009 Xerox introduced the 24 page per minute (ppm) WorkCentre 3210 and 30 ppm WorkCentre 3220 monochrome MFPs. Duty cycles were rated at 30,000 and 50,000 pages, respectively. The Fuji-Xerox versions followed in November 2009. All models were based on the Samsung® SCX-4824/4828 print engine first introduced in May 2008.
The printers ship with standard 2,000 page yield cartridges, with replacements available in both the standard and 4,100 page high yield cartridges (5,000 page yield for Fuji-Xerox). Chips are required on each cartridge for correct printer operation.
