Epson ink jet printers that utilize type 80 standard capacity ink jet cartridges may also use type 79 high yield cartridges. However, some, like the Stylus^® Photo R360 use only the standard capacity type 80 cartridges.

Epson ink jet printers that utilize type 80 ink jet cartridges will not print with a chip missing from, or with a spent chip on the cartridge.
