In October 2010 Canon Japan introduced the Satera 4400 and 4500 series of monochrome MFPs. Europe followed with the i-Sensys and N. America with the imageCLASS models soon afterward. All print from 23 to 25 pages per minute (ppm) and range from 8,000 to 10,000 page monthly duty cycles.

All three branded versions utilize the same all-in-one cartridge design, with different OEM SKUs. All ship with 900 page yield starter cartridges.Replacement cartridges yield 2,100 pages. A new chip is required on remanufactured cartridges for correct printer operation.
