In August and September of 2014, Canon introduced a line of approximately 17 monochrome laser multifunction printers (MFPs), sub-branded as i-SENSYS, imageCLASS and Satera. Models include, but are not limited to, the MF-211, MF217, MF222 and MF229. Print speeds were OEM-rated from 23 pages per minute (ppm) up to 28 ppm, and duty cycles from 8,000 to 10,000 pages per month.
Replacement all-in-one toner cartridges are available in OEM-stated yields of 2,400 pages, with SKUs varying by geographic market. All cartridges require chips for the printers to function correctly.
