The Brother HL-L2312 family of monochrome laser printers and multifunction printers (MFPs) includes several models having OEM-rated print speeds ranging from 30 to 34 A4-size pages per minute (ppm), and duty cycle ratings of approximately 15,000 A4-size pages per month.
The supplies set is made up of a toner cartridge and separate drum unit. Replacement toner cartridges are available in yields of 1,200 pages (standard yield) and 3,000 pages (high yield). The drum unit yields up to 12,000 pages. All yields are based on A4-size pages.
Printers ship with a drum unit and a 700 page yield starter toner cartridge. A chip is required on the toner cartridge for correct printer operation.
