Static Control's replacement developer roller for use in remanufacturing the Brother HL-1240 printer cartridge offers the same look, form, fit and function as the OEM and offers OEM-comparable image density and page yield. It is constructed of hard rubber and is to be used in conjunction with non-magnetic toner.
This replacement developer roller is cross-qualified to function in numerous printers, fax machines, digital copiers and multifunction printers that utilize the TN-430/TN-6300 (low yield), TN-460/TN-6600 (high yield), TN530 (low yield), TN560 (high yield) and TN-540, TN-570 toner cartridges. It performs well when used in combination with either OEM stock components or Static Control's system replacement components.
While it is not necessary to replace the developer roller each time the cartridge is remanufactured, this component will become worn over time. Damage can occur from wear or rough handling, causing print defects including light print, repeating patterns and streaks.
For further information on when to replace the developer roller and/or complementary parts (including blades, felts and foams), consult Static Control's technical instruction SSS 428.
