The 9KMDROS2 mag roller is not designed to use an internal mag roller contact (9KMDRICON); will only work with "NEW" style HP 9000 cartridges that have an external mag roller contact (9KMRCON).
9KMDROS2 can be used in both HP9000/9050 (C8543X) and HP M806 (CF325X) applications. However, when using 9KMDROS2 mag in HP M806 (CF325X) cartridge you must pair with 9K-1650B toner. Densities, usage, backgrounding, and yields are comparable to current SCC 9KMDR-OS mag roller. In order to maintain continuity of supply and keep customer prices from increasing our manufacturing location is moving from Sanford - this is the reason for the product code change. Extensive R&D was done to maintain the exact quality customers have come to expect from SCC mag rollers.
